My Mother’s Day Card

Standard

I want to share the beautiful words from a card I received from one of my sons.

It is a Carlton Card and it moved me to tears:

For always letting me
        express myself.
For teaching me
        to  stand
                on my own two feet.
For allowing me
to explore the world
                and everything in it.
Thanks for always loving me
        for who I am.
Ilove you,
        and feel so lucky
                to be your son.

Guest appearance on Cynchronicity Live

Thank you to Cyn Gagen for having me on her show again! As usual I had a wonderful time. I shared a great project that I found on the Michaels website.  Here is the link to watch the replay:

This is the Michael’s project I based my demonstration on.

I showed several ways to adapt this flower: for school children, medium skills and more advanced skills.

Please watch the show for all the details:)

Thank you for stopping by,

Happy Mother’s Day Mom

Standard

This card was created for someone special, but I would have loved to be able to give it to my own Mom; and I miss her very much.

The frame and chrysanthemum were SVG Cuts freebies.  I’m thrilled with how they turned out. I added punched little butterflies to the frame, and made an extra layer to the flower. The “Mom” embellishment was from the Dollar Store :).
